I think there is beauty in quick, easy-to-make, one-time-use jigs, but I’ll admit it, I’m a sucker for over-complicated jigs. In fact, I’ll argue that if you’re going for versatility, there is no such thing as too complex of a jig. By the looks of his box-joint and tenon jig, I’m pretty sure Carmonius Finsnickeri of Sweden agrees with me. For some, half of the fun of woodworking is making jigs. If I cut more box-joints, I could easily see adding this one to my project list.
