Cordless drills are incredibly convenient, but sometimes they’re too bulky for the space you’re trying to use them in. I’ve wormed my way inside lots of cabinets, cordless drill in hand, only to find it’s too big to fit in the space that’s available.
DeWalt’s DCD800E2 Drill/Driver ($269) promises to let you get big power into small places. According to DeWalt, the drill is a half-inch shorter than similar drills, and the brushless motor kicks out 40% more watts than similar models.
The drill spins at up to 2,000 rpm and includes an LED light, helpful when you’re crawling into those tiny spaces. The SCD800E2 kit includes two batteries, a charger, belt hook and kit bag.
